Baby Jacket and Hat revisited

Look at that Face! Kenzie is the daughter of my nephew and niece, Danny and Megan Mack. She is wearing my version of a "Baby Albert" Jacket (Sally Melville) in Kertzer Super 10 "Butterfly" mercerized cotton. I love the fabric this yarn makes. The hat was inspired by a design of Debby Ware, my mods were to finish the top of the hat in a jester-style with poms instead of pulled together at the top.
Kenzie: you look so cute!
Danny and Megan: thanks for the picture!
Love, Aunt Karen

Baby Jacket and Hat in Kertzer Super 10

The jacket pattern is the "Baby Albert" from Sally Melville's The Knit Stitch.
The yarn is mostly Kertzer Super 10 mercerized cotton, also sold as Tahki Cotton Classic and other names.
The hat started out to be "Ribbons and Bows" from a book called Baby Knits, Hats and Booties by Debby Ware, et. al. I didn't like the finished look, probably due to my choice of yarn, so I morphed it into a baby jester type hat. (btw, you'll just want to hug the baby models in this book - unbelievably cute!)
